We celebrate with all Bangladesh people the Golden Jubilee celebrations: 50 Years of Independence. The Independence of Bangladesh was declared on 26 March 1971 by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Due to the current situation we will have to celebrate this historic occasion differently.
Buildings will be illuminated and flags raised as we say our special prayers seeking divine blessings and paying our respects.
May we all join together in spirit as we collectively aim to reach new heights and make Bangladesh a safe and peaceful home.
